Mark 10:45
“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Easter is just past, but the lessons are not forgotten.
Jesus in the most intense moments of the agony of His passion, kept others foremost. Only by the grace of God and the strength of the Holy Spirit could He do this. In like manner it is impossible to live our lives for the benefit of others with God’s supernatural help.
We too can reach up to God and ask forgiveness for those who have hurt us.
“Father forgive them for they know not what they do”
We can look to our sides and be a part in including our fellow human beings (strangers even) in God’s plan of redemption.
Think of the thief on the cross
Then we can cover any shortfall in our families and promote wholeness and security in this foundational area.
Think of Jesus presenting John the beloved disciple to His mother about to lose her son
Let us take the power of Jesus life in us through His and our resurrection and make a difference.
